All terrain cranes are as they sound a crane that is good in many different work site conditions. This type of crane is very maneuverable especially those that have steering at both front and rear axels.
What is the difference between a rough terrain crane and an all terrain crane? Put simply rough terrain cranes are specifically designed to travel off road vs to be on the highways. Exploring the design gives us key differences. Rough terrain cranes need to be more study, where as an all terrain crane needs to be narrower and lighter. This means all terrain cranes often need outriggers when performing heavy load lifting tasks
