How many cubic yards in a dump truck?
Depending upon each project, the usage of raw material varies. For smaller projects the usage of respective raw materials will differ greatly from the large-scale ones. However, in the construction industry, many building materials are sold by the rate of cubic yards, for instance gravel and topsoil. It is for this very reason, knowing the cubic capacity of a dump truck becomes super important. Measuring the cubic yard capacity of a dump truck accounts for various factors like its width, height, length among others but on average, a full sized dump truck has a capacity of around 10 to 15 cubic yards.
