Telehandler Forklift Trucks provide versatile vertical lift & horizontal reach. They are the ideal vehicle when you need to quickly & easily reach up & over things. They differ from regular forklifts that can only provide lift vertically, Telehandlers come with a range of attachments for different jobs across a range of job site environments.
A Telehandler (also known as a teleporter, reach forklift, boom lift or lull) is almost a hybrid between a mini crane & a forklift. They tend to be used for moving large amounts of material, cleaning up job sites, moving inventory around warehouses, unloading & loading palettes from deliveries, as well as some more specialist tasks such as snow removal. They are often used in agriculture to move hay & hay bales, but increasingly they are being used in construction & manufacturing. The telehandler can usually be elevated at a 70 degree angle and then extended out to approx 30ft. This gives both vertical & horizontal reach so lifting over obstacles or accessing difficult narrow job or task areas. Telehandlers come in rough terrain specifications with large tyres so unfinished sites are not a problem.
Telehandlers are very versatile pieces of equipment that can be used for a wide variety of jobs & sites. In addition to the most common palette fork design, they can be fitted with a wide range of attachments for specific jobs;

Material bucket - rehandling, grading, dozing, levelling & dumping
Cubing forks - for cubes of bricks or blocks

Lumber forks - a versatile fork attachment
Grapple buckets - for demolition, scrapping & waste gathering

Truss jib - a mini crane jib for overhead lifting
